The Greater Hollywood Chamber of Commerce (GHCC) has kicked off its new Membership Growth Program (MGP).  The program was created to not only grow membership but to help generate member-to-member business and offer businesses a marketing strategy! 
 
The idea is simple: Any GHCC member who brings in a new member will receive a $50 gift certificate to their preferred MGP participating business.
 
Here are some participating MGP Businesses:

•Sage Oyster Bar & French  Bistro

According to the Small Business Administration, “there is an estimated 27.2 million small businesses in America.”  Every year since 1963 these entrepreneurs have been honored during the National Small Business Week (May 16th – May 20th).

On May 12, 2011, the Greater Hollywood Chamber of Commerce along with sponsors Brightstar Credit Union, HEICO and Miami Herald, hosted the 15th Annual Teacher of the Year Luncheon.  The event's keynote speaker was Hollywood City Manager Cameron Benson, and the ceremony took place at Orangebrook Golf & Country Club!

The Greater Hollywood Chamber of Commerce is bringing together the Hollywood business community.  Each month, the chamber facilitates a meeting with representatives from the City, the CRA (Community Redevelopment Agency), the Hollywood Beach Business Association(HBBA), the Downtown Hollywood Business Association (DHBA) and the Chamber to share pertinent information relating to business development, recruitment, local events and upcoming projects and initiatives.
