About the Chamber
The Greater Hollywood Chamber of Commerce represents local business interests, promotes economic growth, provides leadership in community affairs and delivers services and programs for its business members.
There are three primary functions of a Chamber of Commerce:
- To act as an advocate for the business and professional community, translating into action the thinking of its members.
- To deliver specific services that can be most effectively performed by a local organization both to its members and to the community as a whole.
- To promote quality of life for the people of Hollywood.
Mission Statement
The Mission of the Greater Hollywood Chamber of Commerce is to help members be successful; be a comprehensive resource center; make Hollywood the community of choice to live, work, and play; promote Hollywood as a tourist destination; strengthen the partnership between the business community, city government and agencies; create, inspire and facilitate community leadership; and foster a business climate that promotes integrity and excellence in all endeavors.
Our Vision
The Greater Hollywood Chamber of Commerce shall be the premier organization that dynamically promotes the distinctive interests of our business community.
Message from the President
This year’s theme is “passion for excellence” and with this in mind, newly elected President of the Chamber, Alan Koslow of Becker & Poliakoff states, “I am honored and privileged to serve the Chamber. I welcome the opportunity to work with a committed Board of Directors and a new and dynamic Executive Director. With passion and a commitment for excellence, the next decade will bring profitable partnerships and prosperity to the Greater Hollywood area, and the Chamber plans on taking an active leadership role in making this happen!”
Mr. Koslow was recently selected by his peers for inclusion in The Best Lawyers in America® for the specialty of Gaming Law, which makes him the only listed attorney in Gaming Law in Florida. He is also Becker & Poliakoff’s lead attorney for entertainment, gaming, pari-mutuel, sports and municipal law. When Mr. Koslow is not directing the Firm’s Entertainment, Hospitality and Gaming Law Department, he is also accepting the role of a valued trustee member of the GHCC.
If you are doing business in Hollywood you need to be a member of the Greater Hollywood Chamber of Commerce. There is no better time to be a member of a Chamber than now!
